West Thurrock Chapel has served the local community since 1880 and a warm welcome continues to be guaranteed to all our visitors. We are a non-denominational free church with growing links to our neighbouring churches and also with congregations and people overseas. As our leadership is entirely lay, we enjoy the Bible teaching of many visiting speakers from a variety of denominations and organisations. We encourage people to exercise their gifts but allow them to grow in Christ without pressurising them. Our worship is traditional but relaxed and there is a strong fellowship of mutual support. Our building was erected in 1962 and is simple and attractive with a comfortable lounge for more informal times together. Come and meet us!
