We are a body of Christians who believe that worshipping God is our first priority. As a result of putting God and His Kingdom first in our lives, we are here to make a meaningful impact on our local community, and the wider world, for the cause of Jesus Christ. Our church was the mother church for most of the Baptist churches in the surrounding area, being founded in 1623. However, we do not see ourselves as anchored to the past, but as a lively, informal and relevant church, where people can meet God with and through us - whether as friendship contacts or activities taking place within the church building - and have their lives radically and irrevocably changed.
