Christ Church Central

Anglican
Congregation: 250 adults (70 under 18)

Christ Church Central Sheffield - a church for people who don't go to church. As you'll see from our logo, we think that church is not a building but people, people who aim to live their lives with Jesus Christ as their God and Saviour. And so Christ Church Central is people, people who aim to make the message of Jesus, and the teaching of the Bible, accessible, understandable, relevant and available to everyone.

We are a member church of the Anglican Mission in England. As such, our heritage is in Anglican evangelicalism. We are reformed, evangelical, protestant and Anglican. We aim to remain faithful to the ancient creeds (Apostles, Nicene and Athanasian), the Church of England’s 39 Articles of Religion and the doctrines of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
