Birmingham Vineyard exists to help people follow Jesus, live life to the full and make a difference. Our vision is to start groups, communities and congregations, where people can encounter God.

At Birmingham Vineyard South Site, we love worshipping God together, welcoming guests, hearing from the Bible, making space for people who may find church challenging, praying for one another and for the world and having fun.

Travel & Parking:

There is ample parking at UoB school, both in front of and behind the building (parking is free on Sundays). We are also on all the major bus routes that go through Selly Oak or down the Bristol Road (61, 63, 11, 46, X21, 20).

Outreach, Activities & Ministries

Local Outreach & Community Activities
We run a number of compassion ministries as a church, including Bags of Hope to provide food for those who need it, and GrowBaby which supports children under 5 and their families.

We also run a warm space community meal in Northfield and run employability workshops with a local school. And regularly send ourselves out into our local neighbourhoods to run outreach events and fun activities to help people connect with church.

At our Central Site we hold Stay and Play for our local community once a week and there is an opportunity to join the City Pastors Team, who pastor on the streets of the city centre on Friday and Saturday nights.

We also run Alpha courses across the city.
Other Activities & Ministries
On Sunday mornings before our service we have a world prayer meeting from 9:30am

Throughout the week and across the year there's always something to get involved in, from Small Groups to Sozo prayer ministry, Prophetic Art Workshops, Vineyard Worship and social events!

Youth & Young People

Kids groups every Sunday: babies/pre-school and primary school groups who meet during the service. Parents/carers are free to stay or to drop their children off.

Youth group for ages 11-15 every Sunday in term time and Friday evenings for all youth aged 11-18.

We have a thriving students and young adults' ministry which gathers for regular socials and twice-monthly worship and teaching nights.
