We've been here a long time (the church was built in 1858 and can be seen right across town), but we believe the message of Jesus Christ is as relevant today as it ever was. There are many aspects to our life at St John's, but our Sunday gatherings are at the heart of all we do. A church exists for the benefit of its non-members. We see ourselves as being here for the local community and town, and very much part of it. We have installed floodlights so that the church is well lit during the evenings - you can't now miss it as you go along St John's Road.
