St Mary's Castle Street

Other
Congregation: 20 adults (0 under 18)

St. Mary’s was founded in 1798 and remains constant to the original trust deed which is to preach the gospel using the Church of England liturgy. We faithfully uphold to this and use the Book of Common Prayer (1662) for all services along with the Authorised version of the Holy Bible. There is an occasional (small) choir and the chapel is normally open on Thursdays and Saturdays for prayer between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm so that members and visitors can enjoy the peace of this town centre chapel. It is a galleried building which has retained box pews. We are a friendly community with regular fellowship lunches at the chapel open to all. It has a full time ministry and we welcome all visitors.
