Orton Methodist Church was built in 1833. Much in Orton has changed since then, but the Christian message remains the same and is as relevant today as it ever was. The members of Orton Methodist Church believe in the authority of the BIble and seek to live out their faith in practical, down to earth ways. Local Outreach & Community Activities
Community "Drop-In" for coffee and a chat every Wednesday 10.30-12.00.
Other Activities & Ministries
Bible Study / Fellowship fortnightly from October to March in the evening as announced.
Other occasional activities include singing for fun and Lent meetings with the Anglican Church.
Worship and the Word Service in an evening once a quarter - an emphasis on singing the praises of God and digging deeper into the Bible.

Families Together in Tebay and Orton meets about 6 times a year for all ages with activities such as games, crafts - community fun for all with a reflection on what faith means - introducing people to Jesus and the difference he can make in our lives.
