Steep Turnpike Evangelical Church

Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches
Congregation: 70 adults (0 under 18)

Steep Turnpike is a friendly and welcoming evangelical church in the centre of the beautiful holiday destination of Matlock in the Derbyshire Dales. Our regular activities are arranged to appeal to as wide a range of people as possible without losing the most important element - being in tune with God's word and will. Our morning family service is lively, and might surprise you. Children have their activities during the service. Refreshments provide a time of simple fellowship at the end. The evening Breaking of Bread service is quieter and gives opportunity for reflection and personal worship and Bible teaching. Weekday activities also take place in the church. During the winter months we may meet in the evenings using Zoom.
Everyone is welcome at all of our services.
