Alverstoke Evangelical Church is a church in Gosport that consists of people who follow Jesus Christ. Visitors are always welcome and are often present having come along because of an invite, or out of curiosity. We meet to learn more about Jesus and encourage each other in following him in our day to day lives. We meet at Alverstoke Junior School which is in The Avenue, Gosport PO12 2JS. Entrance to the school is from Tebourba Drive with parking available. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10.15 am with a mixed age group present and for which there are age specific groups for younger people. Evening services at 6.30 pm are an opportunity for those who want to grow in their knowledge of the Bible. During the week we run Life Groups which meet in homes around the town. We have links with mission work in around the world as well as with the work we seek to do in Gosport.
