We are a warm, welcoming church that is family to all, seeing lives transformed by Jesus… a church that is a driving force for good in our city and local communities...a church where every member and our friends on the fringes are encouraged towards flourishing, using their gifts and calling to love and serve God and each other.

We are about whole-week whole-life discipleship. Everyone can belong to an Isca community group and an Isca discipleship group. Each community group is unique and forms around a shared mission and network of relationships. Our discipleship groups are small, supportive spaces where we encourage each other in the nitty gritty of following Jesus every day.

We are part of the Synergy network of churches and the hub church for Synergy in the South West. Evangelical Alliance, Christians Together Across Exeter, ONE for Exeter

Outreach, Activities & Ministries

Local Outreach & Community Activities
Our greatest collective focus of the church is in the North East of the city across Beacon Heath, Pinhoe and Monkerton. We significantly contribute to the life of the Beacon Centre having set up a new charity to run it in 2015 (see www.thebeaconcentre.org)
Across this area we run a toddler group, children’s and youth clubs, older people’s groups, a community cafe and seasonal events. We don’t “do projects” which means all of these activities relate to our Isca Community Groups where there is always a friendly, praying, loving community behind them.
We support and equip all sorts of activities that our church members contribute to in their local areas across the city.
Other Activities & Ministries
We are a core stakeholder in the ONE for Exeter partnership movement in the city and support and participate a range of city wide ministries, including street pastors and Exeter Foodbank, Exeter YMCA.
We love connecting with national and international partners and currently support friends in India and Romania.

Our vision is to help children take the next steps on their journey with Jesus and become all that God created them to be. At Isca, we want all ages to learn, worship and grow together. We seek to embed our children in a welcoming, loving and accepting wider family of church.

Our Sunday gatherings are for all ages. We enjoy a relaxed, fun atmosphere, connecting with each other and connecting with God.
