Central Methodist Church aims to be a caring Christian family community offering worship in the Methodist tradition and in fresh expressions such as monthly café style church, which honours God, welcomes children, members and visitors and attracts newcomers in a spirit of openness, tolerance and friendship. The church encourages children and individuals of all ages to uphold good standards and values of society and to develop a personal faith to guide them throughout their lives. Central encourages its members to help each other, to work with and serve in the community in which they live, and to give generously to and offer prayerful support for the work of Methodism at home and overseas.
