St Mary the Blessed Virgin

Church of England
Congregation: 120 adults (15 under 18)

St Mary's is an Anglican (Church of England) church and part of the Southwark Diocese. This is an ancient place of prayer founded in 1080 A.D. and associated with the Archbishops of Canterbury in the 19th Century. We welcome many each year who just come to see but invite all who come to stop a while and say a prayer while they are in this holy place. St Mary's Church holds regular and special services, including weddings and baptisms. We also have a busy church calendar to mark important events in the Christian calendar, such as Christmas and Easter. We welcome all newcomers to the church and have services tailored for all age groups, including children and young people.
