Gateway Church is a community of people committed to following Jesus and loving other people. Our church community is made up of people of all ages and from all walks of life. Words on a webpage can never give a true reflection of who we are, so we think the best way to get to know us is to spend time with us. Do come and join us on a Sunday morning in person or online at 10.30am.

Debt Advice - We partner with the award-winning national charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to deliver a free debt advice service to those struggling with unmanageable debt. Our Debt Coach Jackie Adie works with individuals and families to support them out of debt.

Foodbank - Each Monday we partner with York Foodbank to run a distribution session - providing emergency food to local people in crisis, as well as a welcoming place to sit and talk with members of our team. Individuals with a Foodbank voucher can redeem it for 3 days of food between 11am and 1pm each Monday.

The Atrium - The Atrium is open from 10am until 2pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for anyone to come along and connect with other people and enjoy simple food and drink together. We have lots of crafts, games and activities on offer, as well as toys for toddlers and babies. We are passionate about children and young people at Gateway. Our heart is to see them grow up with a genuine relationship with Jesus, and we love to see them play an active part in church life. We provide several activities and groups through the week for children and young people.

During our Sunday morning worship services, there are age-specific groups with games, activities, teaching and worship for children aged 0-16.

Lightz - Young people in school years 7 to 13 are welcome to join our Friday night youth group, which takes place at the Gateway Centre from 7 to 9pm during term time. There’s fun, games, food, worship and teaching - all designed to help you explore your relationship with God.

After School Hangout in Chapelfields - Each Thursday from 3.30 to 5.00pm in term time, anyone at school (primary or secondary) is welcome to join the Gateway kids and youth teams for games, crafts and other activities at Sanderson House, Bramham Road.
