About Us:

The Church of the Martyrs has been serving the Westcotes area of Leicester since 1890. Up to 250 people of all ages and backgrounds meet together for services on Sunday. Our mission statement aims to reflect what we feel to be important: We will bring the Good News of Jesus to our community; We will encourage one another to know, love and obey God; We will work for God's justice locally and in the world. We aim to make our worship and church life relevant and interesting, because we believe God is relevant and interesting. We hope this is reflected in our services and weekly activities so we can be a Christian church for everyone.
