South Street Church is a friendly evangelical church made up of ordinary people serving the extraordinary God. The Sunday services are traditional chapel-type services where expository preaching from the Bible is central, and the morning service is usually followed by an informal time for refreshments. Along with our own outreach to neighbours, a number of local works and world missions are supported. Being in a popular south coast tourist destination welcoming tourists is seen as an important part of the ministry God has given us, along with, of course, welcoming all visitors, local residents and those who come to retire in Eastbourne. Also, enjoyable and popular monthly social events are arranged for all throughout the year.
