Rye Baptist Church is a friendly and lively church community. Our vision is to be A Jesus-centred church with a heart of worship and a missionary outlook. Although we are broadly charismatic in our worship, we aim to use the best of the riches of our Christian heritage. So we have a varied mix of lively celebration and contemplative worship, using hymns and songs, old and new, sensitively accompanied by the worship group. Central to our worship is the preaching and teaching of the Bible. We have a good relationship with all the denominational churches in the area, having joined together in various celebration and outreach activities, including an ecumenical Alpha course.
