Ferndale Baptist Church is a growing and community focussed fellowship with a commitment to Bible exposition and mission and strong links with other local churches. Members are active in the local schools, charities and community and in national ministry among students. The church is also the home of two black congregations with whom ministry and fellowship is frequently shared. Twinned with Sopot Baptist Church in Poland, the two churches share ministry interests in the Ukraine. Active support is also given to an orphanage in Chennai, India and to work in Albania. An annual lecture brings evangelical leaders such as J. I. Packer and I. Howard Marshall to the area to offer inspiration to the ongoing work of the Gospel.
