Epsom Baptist Church Centre is a growing church situated in the town centre. It is self-supporting, evangelical and has a purposeful vision to reach out to the local community through Alpha Courses, children's holiday clubs, social events and a Community Contact magazine. It stresses the need for a balance of worship, fellowship, ministry, teaching and evangelism. People of all ages, including young couples and families, are joining the Church. Baptisms have become regular events. The church is interested in diverse forms of foreign missionary work. An agreement was signed with an experienced developer in October 2006 to redevelop the church site. Within two years there should be a new, larger, purpose-built church along with over 30 apartments.
