Alexandra Road Congregational Church

Hemel Hempstead

The church was founded in the 19th Century. Until the 1960s it was affiliated to the Congregational Union of England and Wales. Since then the church has become evangelical, reformed and conservative. We try to implement biblical principles and have a strong emphasis on prayer, preaching and teaching. The church has regularly preached in the centre of Hemel Hempstead, giving out tracts in the town and on a door to door basis. We desire to love, honour and obey the Lord Jesus Christ and to preach the gospel to sinners. The congregation has a good cross section of ages. Although we are a serious minded church we trust those that come to us find us to be friendly and welcoming.
