"Celebrating and sharing the love of God." Situated in the heart of Dorchester, next door to Waitrose, Dorchester Community Church is known for its friendly atmosphere. Bible centred, we aim to communicate God's Word in a relevant way. Sunday services are relatively informal, with a contemporary style of worship in the morning to more traditional in the evening. We provide a range of activities for children, weekly home-groups and other activities. Community Action Group oversees a local befriending scheme called Dorchester Friends In Deed. We are involved with other churches in an initiative called The Quiet Space on Poundbury, a garden and small building due to be opened this year. Membership has doubled in the last 5 years.
