“Lavington” takes its name from the Reverend Samuel Lavington whose 60 year ministry started in 1752. The present building was dedicated in 1869. Today we are a modern-thinking, forward-looking and ecumenically-minded Church, actively involved in ‘Churches Together in Bideford and District’. Our worship and Bible teaching Sunday by Sunday is uplifting and helps us to understand what it means to live a Christian life in today’s world. Apart from Sunday worship and other occasional mid-week activities, we are open every Tuesday from 10.00 am until 1.30 pm, when we offer teas, coffees and lunches, with Prayer Fellowship from 11.00 to 11.30 am. You will always find a warm welcome here.
