We are an evangelical church, belonging to the Baptist Union and with an emphasis on the need for renewal in the Holy Spirit. In recent years we have been more active in outreach, and describe our purpose as being: Bring in - Build up - Send out. We have appointed a full-time Student Youth Worker to mobilise us to reach out into the community through social involvement and more direct forms of evangelism. Our Services are free and participative, with a considerable proportion of under 50s present. We have elders and a diaconate, and try to encourage people to develop and use whatever gifts they have been given, both in the church and in the world. |
