Birmingham Central Baptist Church Springhill

Baptist
Congregation: 30 adults (6 under 18)

Birmingham Central Baptist Church Springhill is a friendly, multicultural fellowship situated in the Ladywood / Hockley area of the city and very close to the Jewellery Quarter. If you are in the area we would love to welcome you to share with us in worship and fellowship.

We aim to serve Jesus Christ in the local community, bringing glory to His name through our worship, communicating His love through outreach and practical ministry.

Sunday worship is varied and offers a mix of modern and traditional styles. All of our congregation, young and older, are encouraged to take an active part within the life of the church.

We are currently reviewing our range of mid-week activites and will recommence a wider programme over time.

Still Waters House is a ministry of BCBCS providing Supported Accommodation for previously homeless men.

Still Waters House is our ministry to the homeless community in our city. Through provision of accommodation, training and support we enable formerly homeless men (currently) to move from homeless into indepedent accommodation with the necessary skills to ensure they are able to maintain this. We also provide opportunties for Skills Based Training, employment, and to work through the sometimes complex issues that led to the initial homelessness. We currently have provision for four residents at a time.
