There are two main priorities at St Philip's Church; becoming like Jesus, bringing good news. We aspire to become like our Saviour, so that we can bring good news into our community. Two different worship styles are offered, enabling people to connect with God in meaningful ways. 9.00 am has a quieter, more contemplative approach, using Anglican liturgy, hymns and organ. At 10.30 am, it is church for all ages, contemporary style using modern songs, video clips and projected images. St Philip's has pioneer work amongst children, strong links in local schools, 45% of adults under 45 years, a large proportion of active men, and a desire to be a church which holds to biblical values, whilst welcoming to everyone.
