Flixton Fellowship Church

Evangelical
Congregation: 35 adults (6 under 18)

Flixton Fellowship is a free and open church committed to the central doctrines of the Christian faith. We share a common allegiance to Jesus Christ as Saviour, and to His word. We seek renewal and growth of Christian faith in our own lives, our families and the wider community. We endeavour to witness to this faith through our relationships with each other, and as we work and pray for the coming of Christ's Kingdom. We worship and serve God our Father as brothers and sisters. Flixton Fellowship has close relationships with Christians of other traditions, actively seeking the unity of God's people. We share Communion each Sunday and all who want to share in the fellowship of Christ are welcome. We affirm the Apostles Creed and the Niceno-Constantinopolitan ("Nicene") Creed.

Worship & Services

Sunday morning 10.30am Midweek fellowship groups

Sunday Service
Sunday, 10:30
A worship service with sung praise and worship, Eucharist, intercessory prayer, teaching, prayers for healing and sharing. We are non-liturgical, but liturgy is sometimes used as part of our worship. Our meetings are formal in structure, with an informal, relaxed approach where everyone can feel welcome and encounter the real presence of Jesus.
House/Fellowship Groups
Wednesday, 20:00
Typically meeting on a Wednesday, but also on a Tuesday and Thursday, our various House/Fellowship Groups provide a relaxed space for deeper Bible study, fellowship and support, prayer ministry and friendship. Those wishing to attend a House/Fellowship Group should first attend our Sunday Service for a few weeks.
Church Prayer Meeting
Wednesday, 20:00
Our Church Prayer Meeting takes place on the second Wednesday of each month, and we gather to pray as a whole church for needs, for direction and to wait on the Lord Jesus to hear from the Holy Spirit.
