Slack Lane Baptist Church is situated close to the village of Oakworth, West Yorkshire. The church was founded in 1819 and has been in continuous use as a nonconformist place of worship and Sunday school since that date. Worship follows established traditional Baptist practices. Our worship is structured, and aims to be an occasion for encountering God as we open ourselves in praise to Him; to be relevant to the needs of men and women and nations in the intercessory prayers; and in our preaching to explain what the Bible says and apply it to our daily lives.
