Moorside Independent Methodist Church is one of the smaller churches of Moorside, Swinton. We give great importance to the scriptures and the need to reveal them to others. The Word of God and the love of Christ are always well respected in our services. We are a community-conscious church and have strong links with the other churches of the area. We also have good relationships with four neighbouring schools. Music features considerably in our church activities. We have three organs and a concert piano. Public concerts and social gatherings are a feature of our church life; as are the Sunday School, the Bible Class, Women's Auxiliary and the Choir. Our style of worship is informal and very friendly.
