Bethel Evangelical Church

Bolton

Bethel is a friendly, welcoming church whose expository teaching ministry is firmly based on the Bible. Bethel Church exists to help people in our community and around the world discover the life-changing power of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The church was founded in 1933 following a tent campaign. In 1987, to allow road development by Bolton Council, the church buildings were demolished. A new church was constructed on land adjacent to the old site. This building was dedicated to the glory of God in 1991. During the Sunday morning sermon (which is relayed to a crèche room for those with babies and toddlers) children meet in their own groups. Refreshments are served after the services.
