Dunbar Parish Church is an open, friendly and outgoing fellowship, very much a parish church, with a concern for the community all around. Traditional and modern worship sit comfortably side by side. Newcomers to the town (many in the new houses being built) have quickly found a spiritual home with us. Virtually destroyed by a fire in 1987, it was rebuilt and refurbished in a modern style within five years. The result is that the prominent traditional red sandstone exterior belies a modern, light and airy interior with attractively-laid out comfortable seating.
