Cumbernauld Free Church belongs to a Presbyterian denomination, the Free Church of Scotland. Our form of worship is fairly simple - it is lead by the Minister with sometimes other people taking part. There is singing, mainly from the Psalms (led by a precentor), Bible reading, prayer, and preaching based on a Bible passage. The service lasts a little over an hour, after which there is tea or coffee and biscuits. The evening service sometimes includes a time for discussion. During the school term we run Campaigners on Tuesday evenings from 6.30 pm. The Parent and Toddlers group, Little Lambs, meets on Tuesdays during term-time at 10 am. We are considered a friendly church, giving a warm welcome to visitors.
