Hamilton Baptist Church

Hamilton

Established 1886 with premises built in 1909 and located near to the centre of the town. Activities for wide age range from 100 toddlers (meeting over 3 days) with their parents (mainly mums) to 70 senior citizens (on Monday afternoons). Over 100 attend the uniformed and other youth organisations. A shop unit in a local authority housing estate is used for youth groups and has approx. 100 registered members. The Church has a strong missionary focus with a number being called to full time career missionary work and many each year being led to short and medium term mission work either in this country or overseas.
