The Baptist Church in High Blantyre is a small but well-established, grant-aided fellowship of about 40 people. The Minister, Steve Younger, is a married man with two teenage children. He has been in post for 19 years. The Church includes all ages and has the feel of an extended family to it. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Services follow a fairly traditional format but are changing to include more contemporary worship, greater interaction and more flexibility. Music is from a Clavinova and a newly-formed Praise Group with guitars and saxophone. Children's work is strong and flourishing with good links into local schools. Our vision is for revival in Blantyre!
